Crossings by the War Memorial
Today, residents and businesses around Royal Parade should have received a letter from the Council regarding changes to improve pedestrian safety in the area.
In addition to the two crossings, yellow box junction and adjustments to yellow lines, a new pedestrian refuge is also proposed on Centre Common Road to improve safety when crossing near the bus stops there.
Any concerns should be directed to traffic@bromley.gov.uk by Wednesday 28th August. We are aware of the concerns regarding the loss of some parking bays.
Works are expected to commence this Autumn/Winter.
